Our Story
Our clients pulled us into tech. We built a business around it.
Fuse started by getting reliable connectivity into places that did not have it, and places that kept moving. Remote film and TV locations. Construction sites. From there, clients kept asking us to solve the next problem, and the next, until what began as connectivity became a full managed-services business for commercial property.
Where it began
Connectivity where there was none.
Fuse began by solving a practical problem that fixed lines could not: getting reliable, high-speed data into difficult locations. On a remote film or TV shoot, productions needed proper connectivity for everything from production offices to data transfer, often miles from any suitable line. On a construction site, the accommodation moves as the build progresses, so the network had to move with it, without re-cabling each time.
Using mobile data technology, 4G at the time, Fuse built working networks in exactly those conditions, designed, installed, supported and run as a managed service. It is where the Fuse habit of treating connectivity as a utility, something that simply works wherever it is needed, comes from.
Proven under pressure
Networks for productions that could not afford to drop.
Fuse provided data connectivity for a number of major motion pictures and network television series, demanding, high-profile productions where reliable connectivity in challenging locations was essential.
Fuse no longer delivers film, TV or construction connectivity, the business has since migrated into commercial property, but this is where it all started, and it is why Fuse has always been a hands-on, accountable, managed-services partner.
How we grew
The expanding brief became the business.
Connectivity for film, TV and construction
Mobile-data networks for remote production locations and construction sites, delivering reliable connectivity where fixed lines were unavailable or impractical, and where people needed to move without losing it.
Into commercial property
The same managed-service approach expanded into the commercial property sector, beginning with rates management for landlords and tenants.
Clients pulled us into tech
Because we were local, responsive and accountable, clients started asking us to handle more: data and internet connectivity, cabling, Wi-Fi, access control, IT hardware, installs and configurations. Then they came to us whenever they had a problem. Safe hands.
A proper managed-services business
That expanding brief became a full managed-services offer for commercial landlords and tenants, everything installed, supported and run by us, organised around three words: Connect, Manage, Protect.
From a 4G network on a remote film set to connected, serviced buildings that work, the through-line never changed: connectivity as a utility, delivered by a partner who takes responsibility end to end.
What it became
Connect. Manage. Protect.
The remote-location heritage is the proof that Fuse can deliver connectivity and managed services anywhere, under any conditions. Today that capability is organised around three words.
Mobile data, fibre, data cabling, Wi-Fi and the physical and digital infrastructure a building runs on. A direct descendant of the original network-building work.
Ongoing managed services covering IT support, configurations, cloud and day-to-day operations. Handled by us, not handed back to you.
Cyber security, data backup and rates management advice. Protecting your building, your data and your operating costs.
Let’s talk
We deliver connected, serviced buildings that work.
For the people who own them, and the people who use them. If you have a problem worth solving, that is exactly how we got here.
